What to do when a loved one dies. What you’ll need to do depends on your relationship with the person who has died. 

 

  • Guidance is provided on:

In Australia, you must register the death with the births, deaths and marriages registry in your state or territory. The respective state or territory will then issue a death certificate. This page also provides links to the respective states and territories.
